This course provides attendees with a firm understanding of the fundamentals of long-line operations and the learning curve that leads to long-line proficiency. Presented in four modules over one day with short breaks every hour, the presentation will pause periodically for question and discussion sessions. We address:
· What is vertical reference long-lining
· How the individual learns this skill set
· External-cargo accidents and incidents, and their prevention
· The fundamentals of cargo rigging.
